Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a portal jobs.delhi.gov.in to connect employers with people looking for jobs. Kejriwal said that Delhi is now number 10 in the number of Covid cases in the country, a drop from June when it was number 2 in the country. Kejriwal said that the time has now come to get the economy back on track without being complacent in Covid preventive measures. The Delhi CM appealed to all those who left the capital during the peak of Covid pandemic to return and resume their work. He said that many shops, industries, construction firms want to resume operations but there is a lack of manpower. Kejriwal added that there are many who lost their jobs because of the pandemic and this portal would help both the employers and the job seekers. The Delhi CM appealed to all sections of the society to contribute to Delhi's economic revival by joining the 'job market' launched by the government.
